In memoriam

September 28, 2009

I have very little to say right now, except that the matriarch of my former department and one of the founding members of comparative literature in this country passed away quietly and I am a little sad about that. So, I hope it won’t defy her wishes at all if I simply say here (after all, only a few people read this blog anyway) that Lillian Furst was an amazing woman and she will be missed.
